Horse Show Advice #67: Jump the right Height. Last weekend Rocko and I were finally able to jump 3' fences at the show. This has been a long time coming. Since he has such long legs jumping 2'9'' has been a little too easy. We had a pretty good show. I was a little nervous our first time out but then we improved after that. My favorite jump is always the long-run to the oxer, but Rocko loved the three stride. After looking at our pictures Rocko looks like he want to be jumping 3'9''. The best part was that we had lots of friends to show with! Angie and Hoarse decided to come to a hunter show with us. They did great once Angie realized they weren't being timed.
