Steve's Wedding

Yesterday our friends Steve and Brittany got married! It was really cool because it was also MB and mine anniversary too. The wedding took place in a really awesome yard. The owners had developed themed areas. They had a Country Garden (where this nice waterwheel was placed)

We had a great time and of course gave them the official Lava Lamp! Some quick history on that... a long time ago when MB and his friends were all bachelors (and stupid) their friend Matt got married. They all decided to get him something nice. So they went in on a GIANT, purple lava lamp. Of course his new wife hated it so when Clint got married they gave it to him, then to us, then we gave it to Mike, and now it has ended up with Steve! We have had fun giving it to each other and looking forward to getting rid of it too.

The Great Tree Blight of Twenty-Ten

Imagine if you dare a blight so heinous that those who look upon it cry with terror... If you can this is what the trees in the backyard have been going through. The nice established Aspens have finally been taken over by a blight. Several of them are dead but happily new trees are on the way to fill in the gaps in the yard. When Bro. Combe brought over his tracker and chainsaw Mom couldn't stand to watch but I made sure to document the event. First they had to move Dad's old busted tracker out of the way. They chose the hard way. Pulling one tracker with the other?

Then it was time to fell the blight infested tree... Now we have two new beautiful trees!
