Lord of the Rings

Today is an awesome day. Lord of the Rings Blu-ray Extended Edition is released! It has been ten years since The Fellowship of the Ring came out in theaters. We went and got a pre-ordered copy, which came with your own One Ring to Rule Them All. Yesterday I was laying on the floor and opened the package. The One Ring fell out on my face. Yes, it's plastic in case you were wondering. Well even though we get a copy today I have been told I can't watch it until our anniversary. So another two weeks until we can see it on our HDTV! I am already excited.

Of course everyone has a favorite character. Mine is Legolas. He is a very good looking Elf. Who is yours?

New Family Photos

Ben and I have finally gotten some new family pictures. Taken by our wonderful photographer. It has been almost four years since we have had pictures so ours were looking a little dated. Here are a few of my favorites.

Barn Kitty

This is Barn Kitty. He lives at the barn. I don't know his actually name. I think it is smelly, or smiley, or something. See we used to have a huge orange tabby name Pumkin. He disappeared so we got a new kitty. Sadly, this one is also an orange tabby. So I never really make the switch. It took me several months to stop calling him Pumkin, but I have never managed to get his name down. So to me he is just Barn Kitty. And, ya know, he is kind of ok with that.



Barn Kitty's favorite activies include stalking you in the dark, climbing up your leg, purring, grabbing your hair, and sleeping on top of his cat condo. I also woke him up to take this pictures. He was tolerant.
