Pie Making Day

I love Thanksgiving Day. The turkey, potatoes, rolls, and PIE. That's the best part, of course. To make it even better my Dickson mom specializes in pies. So today in annual pie making day. Everyone gets together and mostly we talk, listen to Christmas music, and make pies from scratch. All kinds of pies are put together including Pumpkin, Apple, Cherry, Banana Cream, Chocolate, Mince Meat (why?), and new this year: Oreo. I am not the best cook so normally I am assigned the job of mixing. This suits me just fine. Happy Thanksgiving!
